How to buy a gun online

Buying guns online is both safe and easy, plus it saves you time and money. However, there are certain Federal and Local laws that must be obeyed.

Federal Firearms Laws prevent dealers from shipping firearms directly to you. Instead, a dealer will ship any firearm purchased online to a Federal Firearms Licensed Dealer, a “FFL”, of your choice.

  • Make your purchase online, ensuring you are following all state and local laws. For a listing of these laws, please visit the following link: Gun Laws. if we receive a firearm that is not maryland legal or has high-capacity magazines, it is not owa’s responsibility to make legal or swap out.

  • Ask your dealer to email us for a copy of our FFL paperwork. requests must be sent to sales@oldwashingtonarmory.com. IMPORTANT: Please make sure your dealer includes your order number, name, and firearm information with the email.

  • Once we receive your firearm and inventory it, we will contact you and schedule an appointment so that you can complete all the necessary paperwork and pick up your firearm.

Please understand that due to limited storage space, your gun must be picked up within 60 days of its arrival at our store or it may be sold to recover storage costs. Please read our transfer and storage policy here.
